*About Us!

Did you know that as a disciple of Jesus at Cedar Cliff UMC, you are an integral part of the much larger Body of Christ?  Methodism was founded by John Wesley, a minister of the Church of England. Wesley formed a set of disciplines for everyday Christian life; this was to help improve one’s faith and beliefs. Methodism main principles are receiving God’s grace thru prayer, bible study, baptism, fellowship and disciplining. Wesley taught 3 Simple Rules to Discipleship:    Do no harm,    Do good,   Stay in Love with God     More about Methodism

Did you know that within the worldwide Methodist Church, there are over:       11,000,000 Professing Christians; 40,000 Local churches; 55,000 Pastors; and 300 UMC affiliated hospitals, clinics, and health centers.

Those are some big numbers, and it is sometimes easy to get lost in the crowd.  So here is a question for each of us to consider: “Am I being faithful in following Jesus here and now?” Remember, while we must each answer the question ourself, we are all in this walk together!
